Wanda Lee Snyder Davis, 83, widow of Daniel S. Davis Jr., died Monday, September 10, 2007. She was born April 4, 1924 in Shelbyville, KY to the late Lindsey Ernest and Alice Branaham Snyder. Survivors are a son, Daniel S. (Sonya A.) Davis III-Nicholasville, four grandchildren, Michael W. Garrett Sr., Kristy D. Garrett, April Davis Ritchey and Danelle M. Davis, three great grandchildren, Michael W. Garrett Jr., Kelsey L. Garrett and Jacob Daniel Ritchey, a sister, Thelma Cloyd-Shelbyville and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Davis Garrett. Services will be 11 AM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with rev. Buddy Puckett officiating and burial to follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Michael W. Garrett Sr., Michael W. Garrett Jr., Leo Garrett, Allin Harris, Robert L. Ritchey Jr., Danny Callico. Honorary bearers will be Ryan Owens and Attrue Sparks. Contributions suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
