William Edward Bablitz

Nicholasville-William Edward Bablitz, 63, beloved husband of Judy Riley Bablitz, passed away January 6, 2011. He was a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church, a retired employee of GTE and owner/operator of WEB Telecommunications. He was the son of the late Merritt and Frankie Brumfield. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend to all. Additional survivors include two daughters, Sundae (Kevin) Weldi of Plain City OH and Sharon (Greg) Lykins of Spartanburg, SC, three grandchildren, Carmon and Sophia Weldi and Victoria Lykins, a sister Bonnie (Coleman) Stone, two brothers, Jimmy (Debbie) Brumfield and Bobby (Cathy) Brumfield, a father in law, John Riley, dear friends Mike Saunier and Bert Wayne Walker, a brother in law, Johnny (Delores) Riley, three sisters in law, Grace (Gary) Estep Marylin (Allen) Millis and Glenda (Denny) Mihalko. Services will be 11:00am Monday at Porter Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. Mike James officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-6pm Sunday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be Kevin Weldi, Jimmy and Bobby Brumfield, Brian Smith, Mike Saunier and Paul Bryan.
