William Lester Hager, 75, companion of Norma Polley, died Friday June 13, 2014 at his home. He was born November 25, 1938 in Jessamine County to the late Cecil Hager and Rena Locker Carter. William was a retired IBM employee, attended Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church and member of Jessamine County Saddle Club. Family survivors are two children, Stewart (Shelia) Johns and June E. (Sue) Johns, two grandchildren, Annetta (Ray) Johns and Whitney Johns, two great grandchildren, Whitney Winburn and Skyler Conley, two sisters, Deloris (Jim) Davis and Judy (Al) Paxson, one brother, Allen (Glodean) Hager and other family members. He was also preceded in death by his wife Willetta J. Chapman Hager. Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Heath, Troy, Mac and William Anthony Hager, Mark Preston and Scott Paxson.
