William "Willie" Clarence Slugantz

William “Willie” Clarence Slugantz, 79, husband of Ethel Jane Stotts Slugantz, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018. He was born in Woodford County to the late Joseph L. and Annie Ethel Drury Slugantz. Willie liked to work, farm, garden and fish. Family survivors are two children, William Stephen (Carolyn) Slugantz and Brian Dale Slugantz, five grandchildren, Stephen Chase Slugantz, Caleb Joseph Slugantz, Brian Tyler Slugantz, William Lincoln Slugantz, and Lindsey Danielle Slugantz, two siblings, Tenney Elizabeth Stinnett and John Thomas Slugantz, and other family and friends. Willie was also preceded in death by two siblings, David and Joe Slugantz. Service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Dr. Samuel Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hugh L. Stotts, Timothy C. Stotts, and Danielle Slugantz. Bearers will be Kent Slusher, Brian T. Slugantz, William L. Slugantz, Stephen Chase Slugantz, Caleb Slugantz, and Jennifer Slugantz.
