Wylie Neal "Cork" Burton

Wylie Neal 'Cork' Burton, 87, husband of Ruby Burton of sixty seven years, passed Friday, October 28, 2016. He was born February 9, 1929 in Garrard County to the late Joseph Neal and Margaret Morris Burton. Wylie worked as a machinist at Fansteel. He was an Army Veteran. He loved to fish, garden and read. Family survivors are two children, Bradley Burton and Jeffrey (Eileen) Burton, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and other family members. Wylie was also preceded in death by two sons, Larry Burton and Kevin Burton. Service will be 1:30 PM Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Chaplain DeWayne Brewer officiating.
